ZSoftIn a recent post about Revo Uninstaller, I mentioned uninstallers that work by comparing the system state before and after installing programs. One of the best free programs in this category is ZSoft Uninstaller.
ZSoft Uninstaller differs from other similar utilities in its speed of operation and the presence of a built-in function for searching for “remains” of deleted applications (which is similar to the same Revo Uninstaller). ZSoft Uninstaller also boasts some system cleaning tools - the ability to find and delete temporary program files.
But still, the main thing that ZSoft Uninstaller is famous for is its impeccable work on removing unnecessary programs. Using this uninstaller practically leaves no chance for “capricious” programs that do not want to leave the computer for good.
All this taken together allows us to shopify website design recommend this product to users on whose computers various (and not always flawless in operation) programs are very often tested.
Let's look at how ZSoft Uninstaller works using an example:
First (before installing the required program), we will analyze the system. To do this, you need to run ZSoft Uninstaller and click on the “ Analyze ” button on the top toolbar:
The assistant window will open in which all operations will be performed. Check the “ Analyze an installation ” item and click the “ Next “ button:
Here you will need to select the drive on which the changes will be analyzed. In most cases, this is drive C . To begin the system analysis, click the “ Before Instsllation ” button. ZSoft Uninstaller will check the state of files and registry keys and create a “snapshot” of the system. This analysis can take quite a long time. The “ After Installation ” button will indicate the end of the analysis (it will go into the “unpressed” state):
Now you can install the required program. If necessary, you can turn off ZSoft Uninstaller and even reboot the system. The data will not be affected. After installing the program, it is recommended to run it at least once - some applications make final system settings only after their first launch.
To take into account the changes made by the program installer, we launch ZSoft Uninstaller again and press the “ Analyze ” button again. But this time, you need to check the “ Finish an analysis thet has already been started ” item. After pressing the “ Next ” button, our uninstaller will check the system again and prompt you to enter the name of the installed program:
That's it. A "snapshot" of the changes made as a result of installing the "test" program has been created.
To remove a program “registered” with ZSoft Uninstaller, you need to press the “ Analyze ” button again and check the “ Uninstall a previous analyzed program ” item. After pressing the “ Next ” button, we will be given the opportunity to select the desired program from the list of installed ones. Do not forget to check all the items located under this list:
Having sorted out the uninstall settings, click on the “ Uninstall ” button. The uninstall process can be observed in the program window. After the uninstall is complete, some windows with operation details may appear.
Finally, it should be noted that although the program has a Russian version of the interface, I did not find it very useful. Half of the words in the program window were displayed as “quacky blips,” which somewhat spoiled the overall impression of the program. Perhaps the system settings on my computer are to blame for this (although all other programs work fine), or perhaps this is a bug in the program itself. One way or another, I did all my work with ZSoft Uninstaller in English, which can be seen in the screenshots above.
