It is not a manual, much less an essay on writing. How NOT to write a novel is a list of the most common mistakes a writer can make, divided into categories and taken to extremes with often hilarious examples. Fun, educational like few others. Immediately after reading it, I tried to emulate his style in this post which could give you an idea of the tone used in this text, original and irreverent. It's not a real manual, but it's worth mentioning. This book, subtitled Little immoral grammar of the Italian language , takes the trouble to dismantle the main clichés dictated by those who - especially in the field of teaching - are accustomed to correcting Phone Number Data others even when, in reality, they have not made a mistake. There is no rule, for example, against starting a sentence with a with a conjunction. It is a book that I recommend to grammar fundamentalists, but which should never end up under the eyes of authors looking for justifications for their own blunders. How easy it is to write difficult Author: Alessandro Forlani How easy it is to write difficultHonorable mention for this very short monologue on writing created by a screenwriting teacher. It is not a manual, it is not a handbook and it is certainly far from being exhaustive. Apart from a couple of terrible simplifications (the "antiheroes" defined as "despicable characters"), it is a brilliant and pleasant ebook to read, thanks to its informal register and the competence of its author.
