According to EY research of Robotic Process Automation projects fail. Sometimes the cause is errors at the stage of analyzing data processes. It is worth remembering that these solutions are not maintenancefree. It doesnt work this way you design such a robot and forget about it. Often updates are rolled out to the applications that businesses use. In such a situation the robots using their resources also need to be rebuilt. This involves additional financial outlays for people responsible for maintenance. It also happens that business expectations are different and reality verifies them. What situations are these.
I will explain with an example. There is a financial process that checks whether a given invoice has been paid. The robot does it in the same time as a human i.e. it takes minutes. The business would like this robot to process invoices which is physically impossible due to incorrect business analysis at the initial Email Marketing List stage and underestimation of technical possibilities. After the development is completed the robot is placed in the production environment and before it is fully functional it must operate under constant supervision the socalled hypercare period which lasts month.
